Who should use myudutu?

So how does Udutu make any money?

Udutu makes money in four ways.  First there are always users who don't have access to their own IT department or server infrastructure, and these users often choose to have Udutu host their finished course on an ongoing basis on our hosting servers. Udutu charges a monthly hosting fee based on the number of screens in the course.  Second, a percentage of users will decide they'd rather have us build or modify a course for them, and third, some users build and deploy a pilot on our servers, and then decide to purchase the entire system for in house use, moving it all onto their own servers. Finally, we provide optional training and support services to our installed base.

Why would I want Udutu to build my course ?

Some typical scenarios are as follows: A small training department runs a successful pilot, and suddenly is inundated as sales, operations, HR and everyone else decides this new medium is what they need. So to meet the timelines they contract Udutu to build some of the courses. Or, a subject matter expert decides that doing the entire development herself is not the best use of her time, and so works collaboratively with a Udutu designer, putting in rough content, and having us polish the course pedagogically and graphically. Most often it is the timelines that drive the decision to use Udutu instead of in house resources. Because Udutu has both expertise and resources as well as the unique authoring tool, we can build a highly interactive course very quickly.

How long does it take to create a course?

This depends on how much course material you have. For small courses it could take as little as 2 hours. Larger distance learning courses or corporate training curriculums can take 3-4 weeks. Best thing about it is that you can begin creating the courses the minute you sign up to use it now for free. No waiting times for an IT department to implement the system.

Does myudutu offer interactivity?

Myudutu provides unique interactivity capabilites. In addition to conventional animation based interactivity templates it has a unique conditional branching capability that allows you to create complex scenarios, simulations, and remedial learning situations.  It is a robust multimedia platform for a corporate training and development program. It supports all major types of graphic, sound, and video formats, and will automatically optimize any multimedia for the web without third party applications. In addition, if you have existing PowerPoint presentations, they can be easily integrated into the online learning environment, just by browsing your computer and clicking on import.

Am I stuck using one of your online templates or can I make it look like my website?

You can do anything that will work in a browser. You have absolute control over the look and feel and the content. Our templates are there to make it easy for a non-technical author, but a more advanced professional has powerful options.
