Corporate Authentication Project

BC Government - CAP - Course Case Study

The Government of British Columbia built a new system for authentication and access to its many online resources.

Problem: How to quickly indoctrinate frontline staff and customers across the large province in the reasons and the mechanics of the new system. Staff who have been trained to provide customer service, learned a new dual role of policing authentications while still assisting customers to get online as smoothly as possible. The skill to maintain a balance between service and security vigilance necessitates a thorough understanding of the new system, and a total buy-in.

We built a series of interactive and highly engaging courses, incorporating simulations, exercises and tools to make some complex concepts easier to understand.

It had to be done quickly and flexibly to meet a deadline, and to allow for inexpensive changes as the authentication system evolved through the beta testing period.
